Narrows Pub luncheon with Heavy D

We heard the new menu over at The Narrows Pub (@narrowspub) is just a beauty! tell ya something,beauty is an understatement!!! sit down for a pop the top button loosen the belt feastin!!! i had the Mac n Cheese which came with a money little garden salad and ol Heavy D shwacked back a Narrows burger n fries. holy fakkk!! anyways give this spot a shot if your in the North Van area, you wont be disapointed great staff, bangin specials, and a home-ish feel.

Breakfast of Champions

Another big day over here at Meridian requires a nice healthy breakfast. RyGuy as you can see has some nice oatmeal and berries, nice work Ry. Michael on the other hand has leftovers from last nights dinner. Ribs, Spaghetti and garlic toast. mellow brekky for a fine young chap like Nige. He's already asking me where we are going for lunch. Solid.

And We're Back!

Been a year or so since we've done a post so I think its time we fired er back up! Almost 50k hits on this blog which aint too shabby for a couple skinny kids workin in an office. Mike has just been inaugurated into the Clean Plate Crew on Ticks recommendation. The kid can eat! Lil homemade spicy sausage lasagna leftovers followed up by a giant bag of A n Dubs.
In other news, the great US of A shows no sign of slowing down on the calorie count. Who doesn't love mashed potatoes, really? What a brilliant idea. Grab some darts, grab a coffee and a BIG GULP cup of mashed pataters n gravy for the road on your next Sevey run. God Bless Amurica.

So a few months ago, on a whim, and after watching season one and two of TLC's Pit Masters, I decided to build my very own meat smoker. Seriously, try watching that show when your belly is barking; it's damn near impossible not to want your own smoker to sup on all kinds of meat.  It's been a while since I made it, and I've gotten a lot of use out of it but this is the first time I actually documented the process, so I am only just making a blog entry now unfortunately.
